A Family Tradition

In 1916, my great-grandfather William A. Natorp, a European Horticultural Apprentice, placed an advertisement for landscape services in a Cincinnati Florist window and with that created Natorp’s. He began transforming the gardens and landscapes of Greater Cincinnati and created a following of devoted customers with his meticulous manner of transforming their yards and garden.

William became frustrated when he could not get the quality and diversity of plants for customers that he was accustom to in Europe. This gave him the idea to grow his own and began Natorp’s Nursery. Four generations later, Natorp’s has grown into a four hundred acre nursery  and a thriving landscape design and maintenance business. Invariably this mix allows Natorp’s to deliver the best quality plants, service and value to our customers.

Nursery fieldWe are proud there is a certain expectation when someone visits our nursery or hires our landscaping professionals. Our goal is always to see that this expectation is not met but exceeded. Natorp’s achieves this by hiring only those that share our passion for horticulture.

Today, my brother Craig and I continue the family tradition of not just building a business but growing a community of great gardening.

Sincerely,
