Garden Gloves or YardGlove?
If you’re a glove-wearing
gardener, which by the way I am not, your choice in gloves today is almost
mind-boggling! As a matter of fact, there’s so many to choose from, I don’t
even know where you start.
There’s combination gloves,
heavy duty Wolf Garden Gloves, Sun grips, Weeders, leather palms, hob knobs
(or polka dot), rose pros, gloves for kids, gloves with bugs, flexi grips,
string knits, vinyl grips, cotton gloves…even these plastic gloves when
you’re handling chemicals or want to have a closer physical exam on your
plants.
But what about me, Ron? I
hate to wear gloves, but I don’t want stained hands when I’m finished
gardening!
Well, don’t worry…the
yardboy has the answer. It’s called YardGlove! And, it was developed right
here in Cincinnati. It’s a lotion that you apply to your hands before you
go out and work in the garden. Just go ahead, get dirty, do what you need
to do, and when you come back inside to clean up, the dirt simply washed
away. No stained hands, no dirt in your cuticles, no dirt in the wrinkles.
Just clean hands.
By the way, here’s an added
tip…before you go out to work in the garden, rake your fingernails across a
bar of soap. The soap keeps dirt out from under your nails, and when you
wash up, the soap is there to help clean your hands, and no dirt is left
under your nails.
Using YardGlove on your
hands and soap under your nails will keep your hands so clean, your friends
and neighbors won’t believe you when you tell them you’re a gardener. Your
gardening hands will be way too clean! And that works for me! |
