EarthBox

Container gardening affords all of us the opportunity to do some type of gardening.  That’s why I love it so much.  And if you’d like to try container gardening this year, the EarthBox may be the perfect way for you to get started.

The EarthBox is a patented, basically low maintenance, high tech growing system that helps control soil conditions, eliminates guesswork for feeding and watering (it actually uses less water and fertilizer than in ground gardening), and makes container gardening pretty darned easy for anyone who uses it!

One of the biggest drawbacks to container gardening is watering…making sure you don’t over or under water your plants.  The EarthBox has a water reservoir in the bottom, along with an over flow hole, so you can’t over water your plants.  Just keep the reservoir filled as needed, and the plants will take up the water as they need it.

You can use your favorite soil-less potting mix…and with the EarthBox, you simply add a granular fertilizer when you plant the box, and that’s it for the season.  If you want to grow organically, simply use an organic granular fertilizer…the EarthBox will take care of the rest.

The Earthbox also comes with wheels so you can move it around the deck or patio, as well as other accessories, including a staking system for growing tomatoes or vining plants.  Whether you’re new at container gardening or a veteran, the EarthBox definitely helps to make your container gardening pretty darned easy!
