AeroGarden

We’re here at Worm’s Way checking out all the really cool hydroponic gardening systems…hydroponic meaning growing things without soil…using water.  And today, I have found the perfect system if you’d like to try your hydroponic hand at gardening.

Hydroponic gardening is a great way to garden indoors, especially if you’re looking to garden over the winter.  But it is used year-round.  And there are so many systems available it’s unreal.  But here’s a system that has been designed to make indoor soil-less gardening about as easy as it can get.

It’s called the AeroGarden.  And trust me…this is no gimmick…this is the real thing.  It utilizes NASA technology for growing plants aeroponically…a soil free system where the plant roots are suspended in air within a 100% humidity growing chamber.  The roots are bathed with levels of nutrients, water and oxygen that actually makes them grow quicker and healthier.

Now this all sounds pretty technical, but the cool thing about the AeroGarden is this…all you do is insert the seeded grow pots, add water and the nutrients, plug it in, select the plant type, and watch it grow!  It even tells you when to add more water or nutrients.  What more could you ask for?

The AeroGarden has a built in fluorescent light system, the aeroponic optimizing chamber, and an automated fertilization system that tells you when to feed and add water, depending on what you’re trying to grow.  And it uses less energy than a single 60 watt light bulb.  This unit fits on kitchen counters, on a table, on your desk…any where you’d like to grow a few herbs or veggies or flowers, indoors.

When it comes to easy gardening, I’m all over it…and this AeroGarden is definitely easy indoor aeroponic gardening.
