Selling Poinsettia Coupons

The intent of this program is to offer non-profit organizations an opportunity to raise funds
through the sale of COUPONS redeemable for plants at Natorp’s Garden Stores.
 

Our ‘Poinsettia Coupons’ makes selling these Holiday favorites quick and easy for your group, and for the person buying the coupon.  Simply sell Holiday Poinsettia Coupons, which are custom printed specially for your group.  These coupons are then redeemable at either of our two garden stores (Mason & Florence) November 19 through December 16, 2007.  We’ll have a complete selection of Holiday colors for your customers to choose from.

 
How this program works: 

1.)  Natorp’s will provide custom printed coupons individually numbered for 4.5 inch, 6.5 inch, and 8 inch potted poinsettias to the fundraiser group, redeemable November 19 through December 16, 2007 at either Natorp’s Garden Stores.

2.)  Coupons may be sold through Monday, November 26, 2007.  On Tuesday, November 27, approximate number of coupons sold (by pot size) must be reported to Natorp’s (Ron or Julie) via telephone, fax or email, so that we may know approximately how many poinsettias will be needed at the stores to cover both the coupons sold, as well as our regular customer’s poinsettia purchases. 

3.)  It is the fundraiser group’s responsibility to sell the coupons, collect money from their customers, and in turn, pay Natorp’s for the amount due.  It will also be the fundraiser groups’ responsibility to return any unsold coupons.  Payment is due for all coupons not returned, no later Friday, December 7, 2007.

4.)  Natorp’s guarantees that the poinsettias available will be Natorp’s quality and in good supply during the valid dates for the coupon.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee all varieties and color shades will be available all the time.

(By selling coupons instead of actual plants, you eliminate the headache of planning and staffing a pickup location for the plants (especially in case of cold holiday weather), as well as providing  your customers with a much larger selection of varieties and colors to chose from at our Garden Stores.)

 

Suggested Retail Pricing:

You many sell the coupons at whatever price you’d like.  We would like to suggest you keep our ‘fundraiser wholesale pricing’ in confidence, and promote only the retail prices you establish.  If you’re looking for retail pricing *suggestions:

4.5 inch (pot) Poinsettia……cost is $3.35…….suggested retail $4.00-$5.00
6.5 inch (pot) Poinsettia……cost is $5.65….…suggested retail $8.00-$9.00
8    inch (pot) Poinsettia……cost is $10.75..….suggested retail $15.00-$18.00

*Remember, you can choose whatever retails you’d like to sell your coupons!

Note:  For large orders of Poinsettias, please call the stores in advance to schedule a time for pick up.   This way we will be sure to have the amount needed and have them ready to go.  Please make your customers aware of this (churches, businesses, etc. that purchase multiple coupons for redemption).
