Selling $25 Natorp's Gift Cards

The intent of this program is to offer non-profit organizations an opportunity to raise funds
through the sale of ‘Gift Cards’ redeemable for products at Natorp’s Garden Stores.

 

 

Selling Natorp’s Gift Cards simplifies the number of items you are selling, offers your customers the opportunity to purchase whatever they’d like from our garden stores, whenever they’d like, and the card is good for a 2 year period!  This Fundraising program is available year-round.

 

How this program works: 

     The Gift Cards will be authorized for the amount of $25.  For every $25 Natorp’s Gift Card your group sells, your group will receive $5.  As an added incentive, if your group sells 100 cards or more during the predetermined fund raiser program dates, your group will receive $6 for every card sold.

 
There are 2 options for selling these cards: 

1.) Pre-sell the cards.  Your customers will order the number of $25 cards they wish to obtain.  When orders have been taken, a final order / or intermittent orders will be placed with Natorp’s for a specific amount of cards pre-sold. The $25 cards will then be distributed by the group to the customers who placed an order (Similar to selling Girl Scout Cookies!).
2.) Sell the actual $25 cards (which have been pre-authorized for the amount of $25) direct to your customers.  Do keep in mind that the cards have been activated, and the group is responsible for all cards taken.


The $25 Gift Cards will be available in batches of 25 cards for those groups selling the cards direct. For those pre-selling the cards, you will receive the exact number of cards from your final order / or intermittent orders. (Please try to place orders of 25 or more, or multiples of 25 if possible.  If not, we will work with you.)

Each group will need to designate one person who will be held financially responsible for the cards taken.  A credit card number will be taken at the time the cards are picked up at Natorp’s office, initially only as a security measure.  No charges will be made on the card until the fundraiser program has finished, any unsold cards have been returned to Natorp’s, and the person responsible has signed off that the program is complete. At that time, the person responsible will pay with cash or check for the sold cards (money due to Natorp’s) or have the amount charged to their credit card account.  The fundraiser group must predetermine a specific date when the program is to begin as well as to be completed (selling of cards and final payment to Natorp’s), and will be no longer than 60 days from the beginning of the fundraiser program.  Payment in full (along with unsold cards) will be due by the predetermined program ending date.  After that date, Natorp’s will have the right to charge the full amount due to the credit card number on hand.

 

Natorp’s will provide a handout which will tell your customers about the card.
