Really Good Pecan Pie

Use light or dark corn syrup. Dark gives a richer flavor.

Here's what you'll need:
Pastry for 9” crust,
3 large eggs, lightly beaten,
1 cup sugar,
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened,
1 cup dark corn syrup,
Couple dashes salt,
1 teaspoon vanilla,
1/2 to 1 cup pecans, chopped or in halves.

Preheat oven to 350. Combine everything well. Pour into crust. Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist particles clinging to it.
