Halloween Treats

(For the little ones. I have lots more Halloween recipes on my website www.abouteating.com.)

Mummy dogs, here's what you'll need:
1 pkg. bread stick or crescent roll dough,
1 pkg. hot dogs, Mustard and poppy seeds.
Preheat oven to 375. Using one dough strip for each, wrap hot dogs to look like mummies, leaving opening for eyes. Place on un-greased baking sheet for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Place dots of mustard and poppy seeds for eyes.

Cheese ball shaped like a pumpkin (Here’s a cheese ball that’s a bit different but still easy to make.)  You'll need:
8 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded,
4 oz cream cheese, softened,
4 oz chive & onion cream cheese,
1 teaspoon paprika,
Cayenne pepper powder to taste,
1 broccoli stalk.
Combine everything but broccoli until blended. Shape into ball and chill until mixture is firm enough to shape into a pumpkin. Smooth entire outer surface with a knife. Make vertical grooves, using fingertips. Cut stalk to resemble stem and press into top of cheese ball. Serve with crackers.
