Rita's Sugar Free Cinnamon Glazed Nuts

Great as a healthy snack or to top your supper salad or sprinkle on top of hot oats.
Also makes a good gift from the kitchen.
You can substitute sugar if you want.

1 tablespoon butter
1 cup nuts
2-3 tablespoons Splenda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Melt butter in skillet. Add everything else and cook gently over low heat until nuts are well coated and slightly crispy. For extra crispy nuts, after cooking, place on cookie sheet and roast in preheated 350 degree oven for 5-6 minutes.

Tips from Rita’s kitchen:
-Cinnamon lowers your cholesterol and helps keep blood sugar level, and nuts are good sources of protein and fiber. Walnuts contain Omega 3’s, so you get a bonus if you use these!
