A Water Garden will make a delightful addition
to any garden landscape large or small. Your water garden can be the
focal point of your yard, or hidden away in a corner, or even in a
container on your deck or patio.
There are so many aquatic plants to choose from to put in your water
garden. Lotus says water garden all by itself ... floater-plants include
water lilies, water hyacinths and water lettuce. There is also a wide
assortment of bogg plants to choose from. Many of the aquatic plants
will flower all summer and have very interesting foliage. Water lilies
and other flowering plants will bloom more if the water garden is placed
where it will receive ½ day or more of direct sun.
Many plants not considered aquatic plants will also do well in water
gardens ... Iris, Elephant Ears, Canna, and Weeping Jenny to name a few. |
